It’s not every day you get to step inside a fully interactive mobile showroom and get hands-on with some of the latest innovations in door security, access control, and entry solutions.
On Monday, June 22nd, the ASSA ABLOY Mobile Showroom made a stop here at Aartech Canada in Oshawa, giving customers, installers, and integrators a chance to experience a wide range of products in a unique, hands-on environment.
Unlike a typical product presentation, the ASSA ABLOY Mobile Showroom gave visitors the chance to get hands-on with a wide range of security, access control, and door hardware solutions. Instead of looking at brochures or slide decks, attendees could interact directly with working products and see how they perform in real-world applications.
The showroom featured solutions from several ASSA ABLOY brands, including Norton Rixson, HES, Weiser, Centrios, Accentra, and DoorBird. With many of the displays fully operational, visitors were able to test products for themselves, ask questions, and learn more about where and how these solutions can be used in residential, commercial, and institutional environments.
One of the standout demonstrations was ASSA ABLOY Centrios, the company's cloud-based access control platform. The live demo showed how easy it is to manage users, credentials, schedules, and permissions through a simple web-based interface. For many attendees, it was a great example of how modern access control can be both powerful and easy to manage.
Another major takeaway from the event was seeing how different ASSA ABLOY solutions can work together as part of a complete system. Many access control projects require multiple products and technologies, but the showroom highlighted how ASSA ABLOY's portfolio can help simplify the process. From door hardware and electric locking solutions to access control and connected devices, attendees were able to see how these products can be combined to create a smooth experience for end-users while also making installation and setup easier for installers and integrators.
Beyond the technology itself, the event also highlighted the value of the partnership between ASSA ABLOY and Aartech Canada. Attendees had the opportunity to connect directly with product specialists from ASSA ABLOY as well as members of the Aartech team, making it easy to discuss applications, project requirements, installation considerations, and product selection in one place. To round out the day, Aartech Canada hosted a complimentary BBQ lunch, giving attendees a chance to relax, connect, and continue conversations outside of the showroom.
One thing that stood out was how naturally discussions turned toward sharing knowledge, discussing upcoming projects, and helping one another solve challenges. There was a real sense of collaboration among installers and integrators throughout the event, and many attendees likely left with not just new product knowledge, but also valuable industry connections and contacts they can lean on going forward.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the ASSA ABLOY team for bringing the Mobile Showroom to Oshawa. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.
