The origins of Luminys trace back to the transformation of Dahua Technology's North American operations, a global video surveillance manufacturer founded in 2001.

In response to evolving market and regulatory conditions, Dahua’s North American division was divested and became part of Luminys Systems Corporation under the ownership of Foxlink, a Taiwanese technology group with decades of experience in electronics manufacturing and strategic investments. This transition preserved existing customer relationships, warranties, and service commitments while positioning Luminys to build a unique identity and expand its solutions portfolio within the North American market.
