What Is NDAA Compliance and Why Does It Matter?  

A device is NDAA-compliant if it meets the requirements set by the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA), which governs the budget and spending of the U.S. Department of Defence.

Specifically, Section 889 bans the use of certain devices, such as cameras and drones, by companies deemed to pose security risks, primarily those from certain Chinese manufacturers. 

NDAA compliance ensures these products do not come from or contain components from these banned companies, reducing potential data and national security risks.
